Some people believe that by taking a photograph you can steal their soul. The word soul has it’s origin in the word breath so when you are blowing up a balloon you put your breath, e.g. soul into it. By taking the photograph at the precise moment the balloon bursts the soul escapes and is captured by the camera. Curated by Ben Freeman at Dazed & Confused Gallery in 2007
A show curated by Oscar Bauer at Terrace Gallery With Matt Robinson and Miki Tsuganuma
